چکیده
In this paper the authors present a derivation of back-scatter rotational Large Eddy Simulation model, which is extension Baldwin & Lomax model to non-equilibrium problems. The particularly designed mathematically describe fluid filling domain with solid walls and consequently differential operators appearing in smoothing terms are degenerate at boundary. After prove some mathematical properties coming from weighted energy estimates, allow existence uniqueness class regular weak solutions.

Large Eddy Simulation and Turbulence Control
This paper reviews LES methods, based on the dynamic subgrid-scale model, that greatly improve the efficiency of turbulence control simulations in the context of drag reduction for plane turbulent channel flow. We begin by performing simulations of opposition control at Reynolds numbers in the range Reτ = 100 to 590 which demonstrate a decrease in effectiveness of this control strategy with inc...
متن کاملParallel Large-eddy Simulation of Sheared and Stratiied Turbulence
We describe a parallel program for large-eddy simulations of turbulent uids based on the three dimensional incompressible Navier Stokes equation. A variant of the divide and conquer method for solving the poisson-equation is introduced and rst results and speed-ups of this solver on the Parsytec GC-el 1024 are presented. 1 Purpose We investigate the fully vectorized three-dimensional simulation...
متن کاملLarge-eddy simulation of rotating and stratified turbulence
Mathematical regularization of the nonlinear terms in the Navier-Stokes equations is found to provide a systematic approach to deriving subgrid closures for numerical simulations of turbulent flow. By construction, these subgrid closures imply existence and uniqueness of strong solutions to the corresponding modeled system of equations. We will consider the large-eddy interpretation of two such...
